We transformed a boring, one-dimensional instructor-led presentation into a dynamic, story-based course.
We were given a huge deck filled with text and mostly generic stock images. It was a virtual instructor-led session that took an hour to train.
After working through the content and with the subject matter expert to improve it, the content ended up being more dynamic, with stories (and a bit of comedy) all wrapped up into a short 21-minute course.
The resulting course was slimmed down to essentials, letting people access only the content relevant to them while keeping them engaged. According to survey data, it was a huge success, significantly reducing the training time while improving retention.
How It Started
We were given 44 text-heavy slides such as the ones below and asked for a course to help employees work more ergonomically or get help working more ergonomically.
How It's Going
Employees go through four short modules and choose what's important to them only. It engages employees with lively narration, humor, and beautiful illustrations that animate what's being explained, making it extremely simple to understand.
